How Long Does It Take for the Vanity to Arrive?

Our vanities usually take around 2-3 business days to arrive and we here at Besso will always make sure that we contact you once it arrives.

What Are the Different Types of Cement That You Offer?

Here at Besso, we carry Mapei. They have Ultraflex 1, which is usually used for 12”x24” tiles. Ultraflex 2, which is usually used for 24”x24” tiles. LFT which is the strongest cement that we have to offer. LFT is suitable for most if not all big format tiles like the 24”x48”. For outdoor use we carry the Keraflex super. For self leveling we carry the Novoplan SP. For ceiling tile we usually recommend the Ultralight. We also offer a quick set cement called Ultraflex RS.

What Is the Difference Between Laminate and Vinyl?

The main difference between laminate and vinyl is that vinyl is 100% water proof and more scratch resistant than most other floorings. The only downside may be that vinyl usually tends to be thinner than laminate or other floorings. The good thing about laminate is that it will usually be 12mm so it will be thicker than the usual vinyl, they also tend to look a lot more like natural wood compared to vinyl. Some brands of laminate like Panda Flooring offer laminate that is water resistant up to 48-72 hours.

Is There Warranty on Your Faucets, Shower Systems?

Yes, there is a 1 year warranty for any damages or leakage. As for the cartridge, they have a lifetime warranty. If there are any damages you can feel free to come back and ask us any questions and we will be glad to help you by contacting the supplier.

What Is the Difference Between MDF and Wood for the Vanity?

The main difference between the two is that MDF is going to be a little cheaper compared to wood. You can choose this as an option for a rental unit. As for solid wood, this option will be more expensive than MDF, the reason being that wood is going to be better for long term use. It is more scratch resistant, water resistant, and more durable.

What Is the Difference Between Engineered and Solid Hardwood?

The difference between engineered and solid hardwood is that for engineered they’re going to be a lot wider than the traditional solid hardwood. The reason being that for engineered hardwood it is only the top (veneer) wear layer that is actually made from the solid hardwood. The rest is made from plywood that is compressed together. For engineered they come in many different sizes like 6”, 7 ½” and 9 ¼”. They also have different grades ranging from AB, ABC, and ABCD. AB is the highest grade. The higher the grade the less of the knots and color difference you will see and notice in the flooring.

For solid hardwood, they are your traditional hardwood. For this all of the wood is going to be the natural solid wood. They usually come in sizes ranging from 3 ¼” to 4 ¼”. They have two “grades” character and select. Character meaning there will be pronounced color variations, open and closed knots, mineral streaks, surface holes. For Select there will be a more limited range of color variation, and pronounced and nuanced coloration.
